The PSA is the union for the public service with 77,000 members employed by departments, DHBs, crown entities, SOEs, community organisations and local authorities.

It is committed to the Living Wage and is a member of Living Wage Aotearoa, and as a union, we know that we have to walk the talk and ensure that both our staff and those who contract to us are paid the Living Wage.

The Principal Partner Council is a great opportunity to interact with other Living Wage Employers and to promote the concept more widely. PSA would like to see some public sector employers involved as Principal Partners to ensure the whole public sector is part of this movement.
